Small Groups
What is a Small Group Study? Well, in the next few paragraphs I will give you an overview, but the best way to find out is to come out and be a part of a group! To sum it up in one sentence, "Small Groups are Great."
Our Groups meet in the comfort of a host home. This is a person within the group who has graciously offered to host the group meetings within their home. We study Christian approved books on various subjects that teach us sound Biblical principles, which will hopefully motivate and grow us in our Christian walk.
Small Groups include five to fifteen people and meet many of our needs by offering a non- threatening, safe, confidential environment in which every group member is known and appreciated by every other member of the group. They also provide a welcoming, affirming place for interested seekers, newly committed believers, and maturing believers dealing with questions, doubts and struggles.
Small Groups keep participants from feeling "lost in the crowd" and give every member a place where he or she can belong and be ministered to by fellow believers. Small Groups are fun; laughter and humor are very much a part of the experience within the group. Most of the Small Groups provide babysitting & transportation.
We encourage you to consider being part of a small group and look forward to seeing you there! For more information (such as times, dates, and locations) concerning our Small Groups, call Sharon Bowler, our Small Group Coordinator, at the church office at 905-945-8932.
We look forward to starting a new season of Small Groups September 2011. Information will be posted as it becomes available.
Study requests from those wishing to participate and requests to host are most welcome and can be forwarded to the church through the Contact Page to the attention of Sharon Bowler.
