(B)       CAN WE LEARN ANYTHING?  LIFE PRINCIPLES

 

1.         God puts regular TESTS of faith before His children.  Think about how often in life it really comes down to  - am I going to trust God, or am I not going to trust God?

 

2.         Faith is not just a part of the Christian life, it’s the WHOLE THING

 

            Dovot is: The ABSENCE of faith

 

·        A lack of confidence or ASSURANCE that God will keep His promises.

·        Detrimental to ANY kind of relationship with God.

 

3.         The circumstances of life will either SHRINK or STRETCH your faith

 

4.         Doubt sees the OBSTACLES; faith sees the OPPORTUNITIES

 

5.         Doubt has DISGUISES

 

            * Fear                         * withdrawal                            * anxiety

 

* bitterness                * frustration and anger

 

6.         Doubt is CONTAGEOUS

 

7.         It’s a FAST journey from doubt to despair

 

8.         It’s a FAITH journey from doubt to victory

 

 

 

 

 

IRREVOCABLE PROMISES THAT GOD HAS MADE         

 

(A)       God has promised to PROVIDE for us

 

            Philippians 4:19 – “My God will supply all your needs, according to His riches in glory in  Christ Jesus.”

 

(B)       God has promised to PROTECT us.

 

            Isaiah 54: 17 – “ No weapon that is formed against you will prosper….This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord.”

 

(C)       God has promised to PROSPER us.

 

            Psalm 84: 11 – “ No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”
