The
Resurrection
1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary
Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, so that they
might come and anoint Him. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, they
came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 They were saying to one another,
"Who will roll away the stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?"
4 Looking up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was
extremely large. 5 Entering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the
right, wearing a white robe; and they were amazed. 6 And he said to them,
"Do not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who has been
crucified He has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they
laid Him. 7 "But go, tell His disciples and Peter, 'He is going ahead of

What will His power do for us in 2008?
POSSESS confidence in the resurrection of all believers to Heaven
I Corinthians 15: 20-24

now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are
asleep. 21 For since by a man came death, by a man
also came the resurrection of the dead. 22For as in Adam all die, so also in
Christ all will be made alive. 23 But
each in his own order: Christ the first fruits, after that those who are
Christ's at His coming, 24 then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom
to the God and Father, when He has abolished all rule and all authority and
power.
RESIST temptation to sin

the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and
abundant grace was upon them all.
