Centennial Park Baptist Church has been a part of the Grimsby community since 1876 as an active, people oriented, Bible-believing church. Our goal is to teach, encourage, disciple and assist one another; and to promote Christian fellowship, service and growth - all in accordance with the teachings of God's Word, the Bible.

Whatever your age, interest or needs, or whether you are single, a parent or a young person, there is an activity and a group of friendly people who will make you feel welcome. Whether you are a neighbour or just visiting the area, we extend a friendly welcome to worship and meet with us.

SUNDAY SCHOOL OPEN SESSION
Open Session begins at 9:00am Sunday morning and everyone is welcome. This is a time of praise, singing, special activities, and a welcome to new visitors.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
There is a class for everyone! All classes begin at 9:30am. Please join us, it is your opportunity to learn more of the Bible and one another.

NURSERY
If you have very young children, you may be interested to know about the nursery provided for your children. It is equipped with cribs, toys and the services of several people during most activities held in the church. You can feel comfortable to know your child will be well cared for while you enjoy your fellowship with us.

JUNIOR CONGREGATION
Junior Congregation is a Christian program for children aged 4-8 years. Junior Congregation takes place during church time and starts during the children's hymn and story, after which the children leave the Sanctuary. The children aged 4-6 go with their volunteer adult leader and the 7 & 8 year olds accompany their leader to a separate class. A curriculum is followed as a guide to allow the children to conecentrate on certain Bible themes. This time usually consists of a story, a related activity and a craft or game. The boys and girls love it!

HANDICAP SERVICES
The building is accessible to handicapped individuals. For your convenience there is a washroom on the main floor. For those who have difficulty hearing, the church has volume controlled head sets for your convenience. Ask an usher for assistance.

LIBRARY
For your spiritual reading, at anytime the church is open, we have a well-stocked Library just off the Sanctuary. Feel free to browse around to see what we have that might interest you or your children. Please sign the card in the pocket at the back of the book and leave in the Library box. Bookmobile books (wherever located) can be checked out in the same manner. Musical tapes must be signed out in the blue book provided.

SERVICE TAPE RECORDINGS
Each Sunday the service is recorded. For those wishing a tape, just fill in the request envelope at the rear of the Sanctuary. Your tape will be ready for pickup the following Sunday.
