Christiane Rutledge

Director of Children's Ministry

The most recent addition to our staff, Christiane began serving at Centennial Park in August of 2010.

She has an evident passion for children's ministries and has led our weekly children's program, FFK, for the past 2 years. Under her direction we have seen hundreds of children come into our church.

Christiane is a gifted communicator whose passion for teen girls has taken her across Ontario speaking to hundreds of teen girls about beauty and self-worth. She is the Weekend Pastor to Avalanche, a retreat for JR High students held annually at Muskoka Woods Sports Resort. As well, Christiane works at TD Canada Trust as a Manager of Customer Service. She is married to Andrew and they have 4 beautiful children!

Here is a brief bio in Christiane's words:

"I am very excited to be joining the CPBC family as the Director of Children's Ministries. I desire to see kids get excited about Jesus and recognize the difference he can make in their lives. I long to see families coming to church with each member being touched by the ministry.

Born in Bad Reichenhall, Germany, I emigrated to Canada in 1988 at the age of 8. I grew up on a farm near Kincardine. I was brought up in a Catholic home but, in my teen years, I realized that I had an emptiness inside that wasn't being filled. It was in that time that I found a church home at Chalmers Community Church. With the guidance of several families who took me in and cared for me I realized that what I had been missing was a real relationship with Jesus Christ. I gave my life to him and have had that emptiness filled!

I met my husband at Emmanuel Bible College in Kitchener. We were married in 2002 and have since grown a family of three boys (Isaiah, Cian, and Emerson) and a daughter (Kianna). God has always protected and guided our family!

Aside from the church I work at TD Canada Trust where I am able to be a witness to the difference Jesus makes in my life to my staff and customers
